London 2012

Planning for the London 2012 Games has begun by the PCI. All information related to the participation of the Irish Team at the London 2012 Paralympic Games will be posted here as it becomes available.

Tickets will go on sale in 2011.  Fans are encouraged to register their interest for tickets by 'signing-up' with the London Organising Committee (LOCOG) at www.tickets.london2012.com .  Tickets will be on sale to the general public by a balloting process.  This process is open to all residents of the EU.  PCI urges all Paralymic Sports fans travelling to London to register their interest today.

2010 PCI Panels - Criteria

The criteria for athletes to be included on the 2010 PCI Panel are now available following agreement between the PCI and the sports.  The panel criteria will be reviewed each year and new panels announced for 2011 & 2012 to reflect the likely qualification of sports and athletes for the London Paralympic Games. 

Athletes are selected on panels subject to the conditions as laid out in the criteria document for their specific sport.  PCI panel athletes will be included on the London 2012 mailing list and invited to participate in PCI events in a given year, such as PCI Multisport Camps.  The Panels will also act as PCI's Registered Testing Pool with the Anti-Doping Units of the Irish Sports Council and the International Paralympic Committee.
